ERIC HAFNER
Founder and Principal
Eric Hafner is a seasoned Human Capital leader and advisor with about three decades of experience shaping high-performing cultures across the GCC. Based in Dubai, he has held senior leadership roles in both private and governmental entities - ranging from multinational conglomerates and family businesses to pioneering government-backed ventures.
Eric founded DUBAI HR CONSULTANTS in Dubai in 2009 a dedicated human capital-focused consultancy firm under Hafner Consultants LLC. The consultancy partners with boards, leadership teams, and government entities to drive organizational performance, restructure operations, and align strategy with growth. He and his team are recognized for their ability to design and implement HR functions from the ground up, lead complex restructuring programs, and craft people strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Throughout his career, and since 1998 (first steps in Dubai), Eric has served as Director of Human Capital at Dubai Land (Dubai Holding), HR Committee Member at Al Jaber Group, and HR leader at Al Tayer Motors, Schneider Electric, Jumeirah Group and The Ritz-Carlton LLC. He currently contributes as a lecturer in Human Resources Management sciences to Masters at leading institutions including Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.
Eric combines multicultural insight with deep expertise in organizational transformation, Emiratisation, and change management. He is passionate about helping organizations and their leaders unlock sustainable performance, cultivate strong cultures, and prepare for the future of work.
